This assessment evaluates the learner’s foundation in English Level 1, focusing on essential phonics skills and basic language structures required for early reading and writing development.

The test includes:

• Recognition of letter sounds.


• Matching letters to their corresponding sounds.


• Blending sounds to read words.


• Segmenting words into individual sounds.


• Reading simple CVC words.


• Identifying uppercase and lowercase letters.


• Basic beginner-level vocabulary.


• Fundamental grammar concepts, including:




• Personal pronouns (I, You, He, She, It).


• The verb to be (am, is, are).


• Articles (a and an).


• Simple sentence formation.

The results help identify the learner’s current level, strengths, and areas for improvement, ensuring appropriate placement and instruction.

يهدف هذا الاختبار إلى قياس مستوى المتعلم في أساسيات اللغة الإنجليزية للمستوى الأول، مع التركيز على مهارات الصوتيات (Phonics) والقواعد الأساسية اللازمة لبناء مهارات القراءة والكتابة.

يشمل الاختبار:

• التعرف على أصوات الحروف الإنجليزية (Letter Sounds).
